This coal tar distillate contains an equivalent of 5% coal tar in a liquid base. Used as a droplet applied directly to the scalp for severe conditions such as psoriasis, it can help reduce the turnover of skin cells that leads to thick dandruff flakes. Should also be helpful in reducing some of the discomfort from itching associated with psoriasis caused by inflammation as well as redness.
